Saw the dev log for this game, found it on itch. Pretty cool. Some levels are kind of frustrating though cuz they require you to move blocks diagonally which doesnt look or feel intentional and is kind of hard to predict. But overall pretty cool i like the graphics and most of the puzzles.

Really fun, short game. it's a nice concept i think could definitely be expanded upon in the future, Which is always nice to see even if it isn't. Lighting needs some work though. was jumping wildly in the dark sometimes hoping there was a platform.

I like it. unfortunately didnt have anyone to play it with ;-; but i see the appeal and the management is fun and polished. Great job.

yes i did use that, and it helps for sure. but its in the middle of quick sand and 2 wasps. which was a little annoying and broke up the sequence between the bossfights. also there is no clear indication of where the elevator drops down to.

Really loved this game. Combat needs some work, i dont like being able to brute force spam jab every enemy with little to no consequence. But left most of what I think in the feedback survey. Cant wait to see where this game goes.

think of two-6 objects. At least one old and broken, and the others can be anything else, possibly another broken object.

Now if you had Nails, a hammer, glue, duct tape, Maybe even a whole tool box, perhaps a soldering kit, what would you make by putting these things together to make something new and useful.

it doesn't have to be realistic. And you dont have to use all of the items named above.

EXAMPLE:

Broken laptop + Old Typewriter + circuit board + Glue + Soldering Kit + Duct Tape = Laptop with typewriter keyboard.

NO!!! you can never have too much PP. (hehe).

the eye strain would mostly come from the contrasty colours.

oh i see. I cant read lol

sexy

surprisingly, it looks like what it is. GJ.

just as a side note, if those book shelves are legit props for your game, i would suggest making the books of various sizes. i think it would add a bit more character to the room.

Depends on the game. would more content support you game more. or is the game quite small anyway and doesnt need a whole bunch content to be fun.

I think you just lack creativity. you don't have to look at it so literally.

i will spoil the plot for  my game as an example as i will likely not have enough time to finish it anyways (i joined in late).

My game is about a carpenter who goes out to find an old tree and make it into something new and young (this is also the main mechanic, take something old, make something new as a tool). In a way i guess you could think of it as rewinding time, but it is much more abstract then that.

the theme doesn't restrict creativity, it restricts us to an idea and helps our projects stay grounded and lowly scoped. But that idea can grow to anything with enough imagination. This is something we should strive for in all of our projects. all games need to restrict themselves to some extent, because as i said, it keeps them grounded and the scope to something manageable.

This is the most ridiculous thing i have ever seen posted. Try to be a little more creative perhaps? It doesn't have to be about rewinding time.

You could think of it in more of an abstract way. Or try looking for synonyms for the word Rewind.

Maybe you arnt manipulating time, perhaps you are rewinding videos/movies, which reveal something sinister when played backwards. Or perhaps you have to go back through levels from a different angle.

It's not like your game will be disqualified from the jam if it doesn't fit the theme so obviously.
